We look to our Learning Coaches to work with the lead teacher to help guide students down their educational path.
Our Learning Coaches will need to help plan and implement a program of study designed to meet the developmental needs of students and encourage their enthusiasm for learning.
Our Learning Coaches need to have excellent interpersonal skills and a desire for warm collegiality with educational peers. We need professionals with a passion for co-creating, collaboration, and teamwork. We are looking for individuals who possess a strong sense of personal accountability, a positive attitude, and exceptional communication skills. Along with these characteristics, we would love someone who can foster warm relationships with families and children.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree
Current TB test results
CPR certified
**Candidates with experience and/or knowledge with teaching Waldorf will be given preference**
START DATE

COMPENSATION
We offer an hourly rate of $16 for a 28 hour work week
(Monday - Thursday).

We are seeking a part-time Games and Movement teacher for Grades 1 – 8 to start this coming Fall.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Games Teacher will be responsible for helping shape the physical and inner growth of the children through developmentally appropriate games, as well as overseeing and training for the 5th grade for the Pentathlon, the 6th grade for the Medieval Games, and the 7th and 8th grade for the Track Meet. This position will involve teaching at least eight 55-minute classes a week. It also includes paid prep time per week.
Candidates will need to be able to teach in person and possibly online (if we are required to switch to virtual due to a stay at home order).
The ideal candidate has completed training in Spatial Dynamics and Bothmer Gymnastics, as well as having experience teaching elementary and middle school students.

COMPENSATION

Our substitute teachers fill a vital component of stability that we seek to offer our students.
Our substitutes fill the roll of our Learning Coaches, Lead Teachers, and Specialty Class Teachers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our substitutes fill the roll of our Learning Coaches, Lead Teachers, and Specialty Class Teachers.
Our substitutes will engage students in curriculum, as prepared by the lead teachers.
Deliver lessons for various subjects in an engaging, thoughtful manner, combining traditional Waldorf topics with an attentiveness to equity issues in both the curriculum and the classroom
Possess strong classroom management skills
Adapt and differentiate teaching styles to student needs and interests, in collaboration with other teachers and our learning support team
