Creating and maintaining a safe campus that supports the health and welfare of all members of our community is our priority.
To do so, we require the support and cooperation of all.
Each member of the Friends of Willow Tree community plays a critical role in keeping our community safe and preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Seating/desks will be spaced 4-6 feet apart and facing forward when feasible.
All community members should adhere to physical distancing at all times.
Please respect personal space and avoid any unnecessary contact.
A face mask is required at all times, indoors and outdoors, while on campus. This requirement is in accordance with the latest San Diego County Public Health Order.
If an individual does not have a face mask, one will be provided.
Face coverings may be removed when an individual is alone in a private space, or when eating or drinking in a break space with proper physical distancing.
According to the CDC, when face coverings are properly fitted over the nose and mouth, they prevent the wearer from dispersing potentially infectious aerosols and droplets into the environment where they can contaminate surfaces or be inhaled by others.
Masks can be made of various materials only if it is form-fitting.
Acceptable masks include cloth masks, disposable non-surgical grade masks and KN95 respirators.
Unacceptable facial coverings include bandanas, gaters, or similar loose face coverings, and masks with an exhalation valve are not allowed as they do not protect others by preventing the dispersion of aerosols.
Upon arriving on campus—while remaining in their vehicles—families will be asked a series of questions.
We will be performing daily temperature checks upon staff and student arrive each day. Students with a temperature of 100.4 °F or higher should stay home.
COVID-19 symptoms compared to strep throat, common cold, flu, asthma and seasonal allergies.
